PROPERTY TAX RELIEF CHECKS TO BEGIN TO ARRIVE TUESDAY

Gov. Jon Corzine announced via a press release today that about one million non-senior state homeowners will receive a check about $1,000 of the Homestead Rebate checks. This marks the second major mailing as senior citizens and tenants took in their checks in late July. In total, nearly 1.6 million homeowners will receive a check this year. Corzine said in the statement, "In these difficult economic times, it is more important than ever to help ease the property tax burden on New Jersey families."
