SOME PAST ALLEGATIONS AGAINST WW COP ROMEO WILL BE HEARD
Some past complaints against Wildwood police officer David Romeo can be used in his upcoming trial for official misconduct and simple assault. Superior Court Judge Ray Batten determined on Friday that four of five complaints are fair game in the case. It is alleged that Romeo kicked two handcuffed suspects in the head. The officer has previous complaints of excessive force, including punching a suspect in the face.
